For a while now, I've only ever attended local anime conventions that are held in my city. Most of the anime conventions I have ever attended have always been small, I think the biggest anime convention I've ever attended was Fall Kraken Con 2015 which was a pretty amazing experience.

Now I want to attend Anime Expo for one day during Saturday, but I want to know if its worth it?

I heard that there are extremely long lines for registration, which I gotta say, does not sound fun to be in.

Anybody know the best way to avoid the longest line if I do attend?
