Invitation Scrolls grant survivors and killers special abilities during the Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade 2023 event.
First Published June 26, 2023, 07:31
Dead by Daylight's 2023 Twisted Masquerade event brings Invitation Scrolls back into the game from late June to July 2023, but this time, there's a special twist - both survivors and killers can use their Invitation Scrolls to activate special abilities that can help them win trials.
If you're playing Dead by Daylight during the 7th anniversary, you'll want to learn how these scrolls work so you can not only use them to your advantage but prepare for opponents' moves. Let's take a look at all of the Invitation Scroll effects during Dead by Daylight's Twisted Masquerade 2023.
Dead By Daylight Invitation Scrolls Effects
Both survivors and killers have their own unique Invitation Scroll effects. To use them, you'll need to find one of the Invitation Scrolls in the trial. You can hold multiple Invitation Scroll charges in your inventory.
Survivor Invitation Scroll Effects
Survivors can use their Invitation Scroll to either spawn a Party Pallet, which replaces a broken pallet but also breaks instantly upon dropping whether it stuns the killer or not - or they can use it to block a Vault from the killer, making it harder for them to catch up.
Leaving the game with a charged Invitation Scroll will earn you one of 12 Masquerade Masks.
Killer Invitation Scroll Effects
For killers, the Invitation Scroll allows them to either endure any stun for a certain period of time or break a pallet or breakable wall remotely.
As with survivors, leaving with a charged Invitation Scroll will result in you earning one of the 12 available Masquerade Masks.
How To Activate Invitation Scrolls Effects In Dead By Daylight
To activate the Invitation Scroll after using it, you'll need to find a location where it's applicable; for example, if you're a survivor, you'll either need to find a broken pallet where you can spawn a Party Pallet or a window to block from the killer. After that, you can press 'Q' on the keyboard or press down on your joysticks on Xbox to activate the power when it's ready.
