Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz from Storage Wars have called it quits, but Casey Nezhoda and her husband Rene are still going strong.

A&E has brought Storage Wars back for season 13, and we're here to share information about Rene's wife Casey Nezhoda. This season, many of the favorite bidders are returning for more. Brandi and Jarrod, “The Young Guns,” split up since fans last saw them, leaving many viewers worried about the state of other storage auction couples. Thankfully, everyone else seems to be sticking together, including “The Bargain Hunters” Rene and Casey Nezhoda, who joined the show during season 4.
Storage Wars is unique among reality shows. While there may be multiple reality shows about rich housewives and finding love, there is no other show about people making a living from bidding on foreclosed storage units. The show has been criticized for allegedly being staged, but lots of reality shows get similar shade. Viewers who can suspend their disbelief that someone abandoned a car in a storage unit, or kept a huge diamond ring in a storage unit full of trash, can enjoy an exciting narrative.
Casey Nezhoda was born Casey Lloyd on September 6, 1974, making her 46 years old. She married Rene Nezhoda over 15 years ago. The two are not only life partners but business partners. Together, they bid on storage units and sell whatever used treasures they find at their California thrift store, Bargain Hunters. The couple shares a daughter, Tatiana. They have kept her largely out of the spotlight so far, though many of Casey’s costars, including former footballer Ivy Calvin and Darrell Sheets, have brought their children in to help them.
After a year of lockdown, Rene and Casey decided not to continue with their lease on the building. They were losing money every time they had to close, so they decided to put their stock on sale. Whatever didn't sell was put in storage until everything fully reopens and they are able to stay open for business without interruptions. They posted a video on June 6, which was their last day in business, to their YouTube channel, BargainHuntersThrift (as seen above). Casey is also active on Instagram at @cbargainhunters, while her husband Rene has the account, @rbargainhunters.
Storage Wars may make finding items and selling them look like an easy way to make money, but Casey and her family work hard. They even have to follow strict rules in order to continue appearing on the show. The closure of their store shows that there’s no guarantee of success, even with the free advertising that they get due to being on Storage Wars. At least Casey and Rene still have each other, and that’s more valuable than gold.
